Lunch Bunch
Small groups of children may extend their hours at school for up to 2 hours with Lunch bunch. This program includes a special class followed by lunch. Special Classes include:
Science * Drama * Spanish * Art & Literature * Cooking * Yoga * Tae Kwon do
Educational Visits
At times throughout the school year classes may get a visit from one or more of the following visitors:
Firefighter * Police * Pizza Man * Dentist * Doctor * Puppeteer * Magician * Pilot * EMS Person * Carpenter * Musician
Field Trips
Field trips are an important part of the educational experience. Four year old classes are transported by school bus. Some places we’ve visited include: Muscoot Farm, Westmoreland Sanctuary, Katonah Museum of Art, to name a few. Younger children may participate in walking trips that take advantage of the school’s wonderful location, such as: the town Library, Firehouse, or Community Center.
